Negev Nectars is Kosher for Passover
We want to assure our customers that all Negev Nectars foods are kosher, and with the exception of the Pomegranate Jam and in some communities, the Sesame and Date Delight (please check with your Rabbi for clarification) all are kosher for Passover as well.
Certain products from Kibbutz Neot Smadar and Desert Magic included labels that did not make this clear, so both have sent us their certificate of kosher supervision: the first from Rabbi Moshe Haday clearly indicating (although in Hebrew) that ALL of Kibbutz Neot Smadar’s products, referred to by their business name “Nokdei Hamidbar,” are kosher for Passover all year long, (Pomegranate Jam and Sesame and Date Delight were added to our product list after this certification was written) and the second from Rabbi Meir Svisa similarly indicating that ALL spreads, chutneys and sauces from Desert Magic, under its Hebrew name, “Kesem Hamidbar,” are kosher for Passover for 2012.
