Makes 4 portions
- 3 sheets Philo dough
- Seven Tastes Chutney
- 8 cloves garlic
- 200 grams (7 ounces) butter
- 100 grams (3.5 ounces) total of assorted spices: basil, parsley, coriander, chive
- 1/2 teaspoon minced black pepper
- 14 ounces goat cheese (hard and half-hard)
- 200 grams (7 ounces) heavy cream
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Melt 4 ounces of the butter–a little more than half a stick–in tray; spread layer of Philo dough over butter, then the next two layers
Use a knife to cut all 3 layers of dough into 4 equal squares; form each square into a bowl, spread remaining butter on top. Place dough bowls on baking sheet and cook in oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool
In a separate container, grate the cheese, mix in the chopped spices and garlic; heat the remaining 3 ounces of butter in microwave, add to cheese and spices
Whip the heavy cream until foamy, add to cheese mixture and then pour mixture into dough bowls
Place dough bowls on serving plates, add 1/4-jar Chutney on the side. Serve cold
