About Negev Nectars

Our Mission

Negev Nectars is a community of conscientious consumers purchasing directly from small-scale farms located in Israel’s desert. Bringing some of the amazing tastes of the Negev previously not available in the US, Negev Nectars provides a link to Israeli farmers who produce sustainable, organically produced, high quality and kosher foods.

By purchasing a share of Negev Nectars, you are not only investing in the farmers who employ responsible growing practices but you are investing in the future of the region and the country . . . not to mention enjoying their delicious products.

Supporting Israeli Organic Agriculture

Our hope by providing a supportive market for these organic growers is to influence other farmers in the region, so that soon more Israeli land will be farmed responsibly. For now we believe in supporting the great, forward-thinking farmers.

We believe for foods unattainable locally, it is still possible to have a relationship with your farmer, and to support responsible agricultural practices as a community.  Negev Nectars’ mission is to support small-scale, sustainable agriculture in Israel, and to provide a market for these farmers.

* All Negev Nectars foods are produced in the Ramat Hanegev region and are certified kosher by Rabbi Svisa, the head of the Ramat Hanegev region rabbinic council, or are produced in the Arava and are certified kosher by Rabbi Moshe Ha’araya, head of the Eilat region rabbinic council.
